Broker OANDA Rebrands, Launches Cryptocurrency Trading Service in US Market

OANDA, a long-standing player in the multi-asset retail industry, has added the ability to trade cryptocurrencies to its platform for US users.

The cryptocurrency trading offering has been launched in partnership with Paxos, a regulated blockchain infrastructure company, the broker announced on Friday.

The broker said the new feature means US users can now trade cryptocurrency on the Paxos’itBit platform from the OANDA mobile app.

The launch comes about a month after the Canada-based broker announced Partnership with Paxos To develop an ecosystem for cryptocurrency trading.

“Everything from opening a Paxos account to funding to trading is managed within the app so that investors can seamlessly access major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and PAX Gold against the US dollar from an easy-to-use platform,” the broker explained.

Rebranding
