NVIDIA launches Omniverse cloud services to build and run industrial Metaverse applications

The company’s SaaS premiere includes Omniverse Cloud Nucleus, DRIVE Sim, Isaac Sim and Synthetic Data Generation Replicator; Initial customers include RIMAC Group, Siemens and WPP

GTC – NVIDIA today announced its first offering of Software and Infrastructure as a Service – NVIDIA Omniverse™ Cloud A comprehensive suite of cloud services for artists, developers, and enterprise teams to design, publish, run, and experience metaverse Applications anywhere.

Using the Omniverse cloud, singly And the difference With a single click, it can test the ability to design and collaborate in 3D workflows without the need for any on-premises computing power. Robotics can train, simulate, test and deploy intelligent AI-enabled machines with increased scalability and accessibility. Autonomous vehicle engineers can physically generate sensor data and simulate traffic scenarios to test a variety of road and weather conditions to deploy safe autonomous driving.

Early backers of Omniverse Cloud include RIMAC, WPP, and Siemens.

“The metaverse, the 3D Internet, connects virtual 3D worlds described in US dollars and displayed through a simulation engine,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “With Omniverse in the cloud, we can connect teams around the world to design, build and operate virtual worlds and digital twins.”

Global leaders support Omniverse

WPP, the world’s largest marketing services organization, is the first to launch automotive marketing services on the Omniverse Cloud to deliver customized, advanced 3D content and experiences to leading automotive brands.

“Industry expectations of what great automotive content looks like, in any channel, have increased exponentially in the past few years,” said Stephan Pretorius, chief technology officer of WPP. “With Omniverse Cloud, we are changing the way we build, share and consume automotive content — and deliver our customers with sustainable, low-emissions production.”

Building on the partnership announced earlier this year, Siemens, a leader in industrial automation hardware and software, is working closely with NVIDIA to take advantage of the Omniverse Cloud and NVIDIA OVX™ Infrastructure together to deliver solutions from Siemens Xcelerator business platform.

“The open ecosystem is a central design principle for the Siemens Accelerator digital business platform,” said Tony Himmelgarn, President and CEO of Siemens Digital Industries Software. “We are excited to expand our partnership with NVIDIA, develop integrations between Siemens Xcelerator and Omniverse Cloud, and enable the industrial metaverse where companies can connect their organizations remotely and work in real time across the entire product and production lifecycle.”

RIMAC, a leader in electric vehicle technologies, uses Omniverse Cloud to provide a comprehensive automotive pipeline – from design to marketing.

“Electric motors are efficient and can be modified in an instant. Their flexibility allows engineers to create a vehicle that can handle in a way a combustion engine vehicle could never do,” said Mate Rimac, Founder and CEO of RIMAC. “Omniverse Cloud will provide similar efficiency and flexibility, empowering our engineering teams Than focus on designing the car model itself, and spend less time on the intricacies of complex 3D design pipelines. And with this 3D vehicle configuration experience, it opens up endless possibilities for customization without having to manually view each layer, saving time and money. “

Omniverse Cloud services run on the Omniverse Cloud Computer, a computing system consisting of NVIDIA OVX™ for graphics and physics simulation, Nvidia HGX™ for advanced AI workloads and the NVIDIA Graphics Delivery Network (GDN), a globally distributed data center network for delivering high-performance, low-latency metaverse graphics at the edge.

Omniverse cloud services include:

  • Omniverse Nucleus Cloud Gives 3D designers and teams the freedom to collaborate and access a file Description of the scene (US$) 3D scene and data. Nucleus Cloud enables any designer, creator or developer to save changes, share, make live edits, and view changes in a scene from virtually anywhere.
  • Omniverse Streaming App – Enables users without files NVIDIA RTX™ GPU for streaming Omniverse reference apps like Create Omniversean application for designers and creators to build virtual worlds with US dollars, Omniverse Showan app for reviews and approvals, and Nvidia Isaac SimTo train and test robots.
  • Omniverse Replicator – managed Researchers and developers and companies for Generate physically accurate 3D synthetic dataBuild custom tools to easily generate synthetic data to speed up training and accuracy of cognition networks and easily integrate with them NVIDIA AI Cloud Services.
  • Omniverse Farm Enables users and organizations to harness multiple instances of cloud computing to scale Omniverse tasks such as display and generation of synthetic data.
  • Nvidia Isaac Sim – scalable Robot simulation app A synthetic data generation tool that powers realistic and physically accurate virtual environments to develop, test and manage AI-based robots.
  • NVIDIA DRIVE Sim™ – a Comprehensive simulation platform To run large-scale, physically accurate, multi-sensor simulations to support autonomous vehicle development and validation from concept to deployment, improve developer productivity and accelerate time to market.

Availability

The Omniverse Farm, Replicator and Isaac Sim containers are available today at NVIDIA NGC™ for self-service deployment on AWS using Amazon EC2 G5 instances featuring NVIDIA A10G Tensor Core GPUs. In addition, Omniverse Cloud will be available as services operated by NVIDIA via Early access via the app.
