OVER announces the seventh edition of the Creator Contest – Innovation to drive more creativity in the Metaverse

Since the term “metaverse” has become so popular on the Internet, there has been an ongoing debate about what it means and how it differs from what we actually experience.

The metaverse is a virtual environment where people can communicate using different technologies. To achieve this, hardware and software are used in tandem. Although each company has a different vision of this concept, they all visualize a network of 3D worlds in real time that many people can enter simultaneously. You can work, learn, chat, relax, attend virtual concerts, and participate in other activities in the metaverse. It is meant to be a realistic simulation of the real world.

On the other hand, Metaverse maintains its integrity in its marketed form. According to Facebook, the Metaverse will combine the real and virtual world, allowing peer-to-peer, real-time interaction in virtual workplaces. Collaborations simulate real-world scenarios by combining augmented reality and virtual reality components to allow people to experience conditions not constrained by (possibly) physical laws. In the metaverse, you could theoretically do anything, including travel, play, work, and run.

VR/AR and Metaverse

Artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) are strongly associated with the concept of the metaverse (VR). You can integrate virtual objects into the real world using augmented reality technology. VR uses 3D computer modeling, one of the great types of visual designs, to completely immerse you in a 3D virtual environment. Although wearing a VR headset or other accessories isn’t strictly required in the metaverse, experts believe virtual reality technology will become an important part of the new environment.

For example, the Facebook metaverse can be accessed via augmented reality glasses and virtual reality headsets, and in limited ways via desktop and mobile applications.

The company has already revealed that it is working on a cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality headset codenamed “Project Cambria”. According to Meta, the device will support mixed reality. It will include new sensors that will allow the virtual image to maintain eye contact and mimic the facial emotions of real people. In addition, avatars can better express human emotions and use body language with the help of more advanced technology, giving the impression of real dialogue in virtual environments.

Save to drive more innovation in Metaverse

OVER is a cutting-edge, global-scale, interoperable Mixed Reality (AR/VR) Metaverse that is open source and powered by the Ethereum Blockchain. Users can interact with digital content in greater depth using mobile devices such as smartphones or augmented reality glasses.

OVER was launched in 2020 and is now one of the best AR Metaverses in the world.

The OVER roadmap illustrates a great move with several app versions and features, all aimed at ensuring that the OVER Metaverse experience is enjoyable for those who join it and sustainable in terms of providing multiple use cases.

OVER the Reality announces a new and completely revamped version of OVER ARwards

OVER has announced the seventh edition of the Environmental Creation Contest. This edition, titled “Venue Design Contest,” is a competition in which 3D content creators can choose from different categories for their projects, such as music halls, art galleries, shops and exhibition halls.

Major changes in this release relate to the jury and final award and revised guidelines. As a result, the jury will include more notable personalities, such as LandVault, Metahood, MetaMundo, Pangea DAO, Parcel, SandStorm and Spaces DAO.

This edition will receive a grand final prize of $30,000 in token total. In addition, creators who rank first (9,000) to tenth (10,000) will be rewarded (750).

Positions I to V will be decided by a highly qualified jury consisting of OVER and Partners.

Release is scheduled to begin on October 4 and end on December 15. Creators can design and upload their projects during these 10 weeks.

Moreover, from December 16 to January 10, users can vote for their favorite creations, as the final ranking will be published on January 11. Finally, the final award ceremony will take place on January 25th.
