SAI Tech Reveals 2 New Liquid Cooling Bitcoin Mining Containers Built for Overclocking Flexibility

SAI Tech Unveils Two New Liquid Cooled Bitcoin Mining Containers Designed to Increase Flexibility – Bitcoin Mining News

On September 28, bitcoin mining operator and clean technology company, SAI Tech, announced the launch of two liquid-cooled bitcoin mining infrastructure products called Tankbox and Rackbox. The two new models join the company’s SAIHUB box and feature immersion cooling and immersion cooling technologies.

SAI Tech Unveils Tankbox and Rackbox for Bitcoin Mining Infrastructure Products

As cryptocurrency mining continues to improve the efficiency of Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) and mining infrastructure technologies, SAI Tech (NASDAQ: Supreme Authority for Financial Control and Accountability) announced the launch of two mining infrastructure units that will benefit from liquid cooling schemes.

The first is Tankbox, which can accommodate approximately 72-144 ASIC mining rigs and produce between 12-20 pethashes per second (PH/s) of hashes. The Tankbox will be available to the public by the end of 2022 and the unit is “equipped with a heat recovery system and can provide approximately 50°C of hot water flow.”

SAI Tech offers a heat recovery system that recycles 90% of mining waste, according to the sai.tech website.

SAI Tech also introduced the Rackbox, a unit that can accommodate 90 Microbt Whatsminer ASIC mining rigs featuring liquid cooling technology. According to a SAI Tech announcement, the Rackbox could feature the Microbt Whatsminer M33S+, M33S++ and M53 models.

Rackbox allows miners to overclock and underclock ASIC mining machines and can achieve an estimated 24-26 PH/s per container. Without overclocking, Rackbox can deliver roughly 18-20 PH/s, SAI Tech summary of producer feedback.

“Rackbox helps mining operators generate increased profits over the entire bitcoin cycle by reducing the risk of outages in a bear market and gaining excess returns in a bull market,” details an announcement by SAI Tech on Wednesday. “Also, Rackbox is capable of recovering lost heat and can provide ~60°C of hot water. Rackbox is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2023.”

Arthur Lee, founder and CEO of SAI Tech, explained that containers provide a system for recovering lost heat. “The Tank Box and Rack Box are compatible with all air-cooled and liquid-cooled miners on the market with our unique ability to recover lost heat,” Lee said in a statement during the announcement.

He added to me:

[Launching] These two new products demonstrate our deep and industry-leading knowledge of liquid cooling and waste heat recovery, and deliver exciting news to the Bitcoin mining industry and effectively enable the sustainable future of the Bitcoin mining infrastructure.

SAI Tech’s new products are prefabricated and resemble a 20-foot storage container with integrated components. Distinctive elements include mining rig tanks, power control, and a water circulation system. The company notes that the Tankbox and Rackbox units are ideal for “inert energy use such as flared gas.” Following the announcement on Wednesday, SAI Tech shares jump 1.14% higher against the US dollar in the last 24 hours.

SAI Tech is not the only mining operation that provides mining enclosure hardware. It will end in June. running The company has announced the launch of Antbox or Deerbox mobile mining farm units that are plug-and-play. The Bitdeer product was originally a Bitmain product but the design was assigned to Bitdeer after the Bitmain restructuring. A single Bitdeer Deerbox can host up to 180 Bitmain Antminer S19 mining platform units.
