Laliga, Spain’s premier soccer league, has announced a partnership with Globant, the Argentine software giant, to bring Web3 and metaverse experiences to its audience. The partnership will bring together Globant’s technical resources and Laliga’s technology division in order to build products to expand the organization’s reach in the digital realm.
Laliga enlists Globant’s help to build its Metaverse stack
Large sports organizations are approaching the digital world as a way to reach new fans and offer new interaction possibilities to their users. Laliga, Spain’s premier soccer league organization, recently announce A partnership that will expand the company’s digital reach. The organization has partnered with Globant, the software giant in Buenos Aires, to build metaverse and Web3 experiences for existing audiences and new users.
These new additions will complement Laliga’s technology division’s existing digital offering, which currently includes fantasy gaming, web design and development, and other areas. The press release describing the agreement indicates that games can be developed using these new technologies. However, no concrete product has been directly announced as a result of the partnership.

LaLiga Metaverse moves
Laliga is a sports league organization that is making many moves to digitize part of its operations. This month, the company partnered with the Ethereum-based platform Metaverse to offer licensed IP experiences in one of the packages available in its metaverse.
